1986年大手化学会社に入社、樹脂研究所にて、新規高性能樹脂の開発、生分解性樹脂の開発に従事。1990年に鉄鋼メーカーに移り、高分子材料の研究開発に従事。その後、1992年から1996年に、米国子会社に出向。帰任後、試験分析の国内子会社に出向し、樹脂材料やゴム材料の化学的分析、物性評価、材料不具合調査事案、火災原因調査などを担当。のちに化学分析センター長として、全社の化学部門の管理業務に従事。
2019年タイ子会社へ出向し、Managing Directorとして経営に従事。2022年に帰任し、同年9月末に退職。
専門領域は、化学合成や高分子分析・評価をコア領域であり、顧客の課題解決支援実績多数。
技術面だけでなく、事業経営、顧客・市場の拡大など経営面での経験も有する。

Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University Completed the doctoral course, majoring in organic synthesis.
Joined a major chemical company in 1986 and engaged in the development of new high-performance resins and biodegradable resins at the polymer research laboratory. In 1990, he was moved to a steel manufacturer and engaged in research and development of polymer materials. After that, from 1992 to 1996, he was seconded to a subsidiary in the United States. After returning to former post, he was seconded to a testing and analysis subsidiary in Japan, where he was in charge of chemical analysis, physical property evaluation, material defect investigation, and fire cause investigation of resin and rubber materials. Later, as the head of the chemical analysis center, he was engaged in the management of the company's chemical division.
In 2019, he was seconded to a Thai subsidiary and engaged in management as a Managing Director. After he returned to his post in 2022 , he retired at the end of September of the same year.
He specializes in chemical synthesis and polymer analysis/evaluation, and has many achievements in supporting to solve problems in the customers.
In addition to technical aspects, he also has experience in management aspects such as business management and expansion of customers and markets.
